Ares Greek god offering candle
Created to honor Ares, the Greek god of war, this offering candle is adorned with pine needles, chamomile, marigold petals and sunstone crystals. It's scent is dragon's blood and it comes in a 3" x 2", 8 oz. tin.*
As a war god, Ares can be petitioned for victory, courage, protection and physical fighting skills. (Athena is better at planning tactics.) He will keep watch and chase enemies away as well. Keep Ares' altar space far apart from Athena's! They are not friends. When requesting help from Ares, it's customary to make offerings on the eve of an anticipated "battle." We suggest several days of offerings before, and after, he has granted you help.
Bringing offerings to pagan deities is a time-honored tradition. With 30+ hours of burn time, you will be able to honor Ares an hour a day, every day for a month, if you so choose!

BE MINDFUL WHILE CANDLE IS LIT
- Always burn on a heat resistant surface
- Do not touch the tin or replace the lid until it has cooled
- Avoid Drafty Areas
- Do not burn near other heat sources
- Burn for no more than 4-hours at a time
- Keep wax pool free of debris
- Keep burning candles away from children & pets
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4"
