This gorgeous, cedar-scented candle, is created to honor the Norse deity of the underworld, Hel. The adornments have been thoroughly researched and chosen specifically to please and correspond with Hel's energy: holly leaves, juniper berries and black obsidian. The 8-oz. tin measures 3" x 2".
Neither alive nor dead, Hel is usually depicted as half skeleton/half maiden. She rules the underworld in Norse mythology and can be considered a psychopomp.
